Paris is always a good idea

Paris is always a good idea

Previously in Amsterdam [BLOG]… we were rollin’

Aujourd’hui Paris nous accueille

Now, I’ve been to Paris on several occasions [CLICK] [CLICK] [CLICK]. This is one of my favorite affair–it just keeps getting better. Indeed ‘Paris is always a good idea’. Getting around and asking directions in french [CLICK] is one of the few things I’ve learned along the way. But before we got there, we spent a couple of hours onboard the TGV [CLICK]. – It’s the fastest way by train from Amsterdam.

Like Amsterdam, Paris has its own personal charm [CLICK]. And like the tourists that me and my cousin were, we wanted a hefty mixture of the local scene [CLICK] and a touch of the popular-to-everyone attractions [CLICK]–the best of both worlds really. Luckily, I have the nicest Parisian friend to give us the insider’s touch on Paris. She [CLICK] is the best! I met her a couple years ago and she’s been amazing. She’s from a lovely family [CLICK] whom I’ve come to admire so much.–Merci Beaucoup Tati!

So, what better way to see Paris other than walking the streets of Paris [CLICK]. Me and kuya Alvin walked from our hotel to the Musée du Louvre [CLICK]. But before getting to the Louvre, we had to make a pit stop and get the most important-and-not-to-forget gift [CLICK] while in Paris. It was also the season for Lanvin ♥ H&M [CLICK]. Loved that collection. I got a few pieces for gifts [CLICK] too. En route to the Louvre, we stumbled upon a Paris food truck: Paul’s sandwiches [CLICK]. Kuy had Foi Gras on baguette, delicious [CLICK]. I had poulet, equally satisfying.–but this wasn’t dinner. To tell you about dinner, I must tell you about our most delicious french degustation of escargot [CLICK], cassoulet, rump steak [CLICK] avec une bouteille de vin rouge–that’s all for kuya [CLICK]–kidding! we shared. Our insider’s guide to dining in Paris, was all Tamara’s [CLICK] recommendations, She’s Tatiana’s sister–didn’t I tell you her family is the best ever? for dessert [CLICK]. très bon!

Breakfast the next day was light [CLICK]. Reserving ourselves for a rewarding Lunch and Dinner. We made plans. The day went by fast. We hiked to the Church on top of the hill [CLICK]. Swung by the Arc [CLICK], strolled to the Tower [CLICK], lunched at Leon’s [CLICK], picked up some gâteau [CLICK], saw the red windmill [CLICK], and headed to yet another french degustation of terrine foie gras du canard [CLICK], boeuf burgoine [CLICK], and Lamb steaks [CLICK] avec une bouteille de vin rouge. This time with Tatiana, Tamara and Zlatan [CLICK]. We finished everything [CLICK]. très bon!

Afterwards Tatiana took Me and Kuy to ‘fevala chic’ to get our insider’s local club scene experience. People were dancing on tables and benches [CLICK]. Everyone was dancing, her [CLICK], him [CLICK], me [CLICK] and them [CLICK].–we liked it.

didn’t I tell you so…

‘Paris is always a good idea’

a bientôt!
