Beijing in the winter is Glacial! with temperatures dipping as low as -20°C with the northern winds cutting like knife through fresh bean curd, I consider myself lucky, I was there a few days short of the forecast. Another thing I thought was awesome was getting frequently shocked with static electricity that discharges everywhere. Unless you don’t like surprises, better make sure avoiding any metal things during winter.
In this exhibit: Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, Great Wall of China, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Bird’s Nest, Silk Factory, Jadeite shopping, Tea and Peking Duck tasting.
Enjoy!
