Chachi + Jacqui got Married October 3, 2009. Rainy Saturday…
It was the Height of a Typhoon-Scare in Metro Manila, the first one “Ondoy” already left hundreds, missing; Thousands, homeless; and Millions of Filipinos around Metro Manila, Hungry and swimming in mud-water floods. The second was considered a Category 5 Super Typhoon headed our direction Thursday till Friday before Chachi & Jacqui’s wedding. They called it Super Typhoon “Pepeng”

My Inspiration during a calamity…
I was just reading this inspiring love story about a couple who got married the day Tropical Storm “Ondoy” hit Manila… Realizing that getting married during a calamity, all you really need is a bride, a groom, an officiant, a witness and hopefully a photographer (LOL!).

I can just imagine how worried Chachi and Jacqui must have been that week. Praying for your fiancée to be there with you and say “I do” on your wedding day is something but praying for a typhoon-and-flood-free-weather is something else. Act of God as they call it. Good Fortunes will come this couples way… sure enough it was the Heavens that made this Love Story possible. Everyone made it. Everyone was happy to be witnesses of an Act of God.
