So here I go again, another road trip…
Another day in the European motor-way… this time Lucerne, Switzerland to Innsbruck, Austria.
Unlike the trip from Cannes to Paris, where everywhere you look were vineyards after vineyards drenched in the french sun… the Swiss motor-way displayed a different scenic view.
The Apennines, The snow capped Swiss Alps, The Crystal Swiss Lakes were all in view, it was breathtaking to just sit there and stare out.
Swiss motor-way is also know for its combination of precision-made tunnels, bridges between 3,000 feet high mountains, ridge-line highways, and highways that outlined crystal lakes the reflected the mountains and alps—all made to make travel faster yet scenic in the European Alps.
The longest tunnel we went thru was a 16-kilometer tunnel… true story! Our Cosmos Coach was in the snaking tunnel for more than 10 minutes. It was spine chilling to be there considering I’m not really a big fan of enclosed spaces. haha! 10 minutes passed and when the light from the end of the tunnel started glaring brighter I knew there was something amazing at the end of it.–Innsbruck Austria.
Another Day, Another Country, Another Adventure!
