benvenuto a Roma Italia
Sightseeing in Rome…
Rome is known for its 2 and half thousand years worth of history–sprinkled with pieces of Art and Architecture all over the city. I personally like that everywhere you look there’s probably a building or a sculpture preserved from the Roman Empire or the Italian Renaissance. Walk around the streets of Rome, and you’ll feel like you’re in a travel and history book.–True Story!
.
When in Rome, do not forget to visit a couple of places… to name a few, The Coliseum (for its centuries-worth of history in gladiator games and violence as an entertainment). The Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi), for its triumphant example of Baroque art and the ever-mutating and incredible display in power of water. The Spanish Steps and the Piazza the Spagna, where travelers from all over the world sit around and enjoy the Roman Sun. And The City within the City–Vatican!
.
On the Flip side, due to its very popular tourist destinations, Summertime in Rome is a crazy as the market in Delhi. There is so much people going around trying to get a piece of Roman History with them. Air Quality is not that good either, pollution from the hundreds and hundreds of Vespas and Fiats on the streets driving like Ferraris.
.
But at the end of the day, coming back from an Italian dinner (delicious by the way!), and drinking Italian wines with some friends, Rome is always a place that will never be like any other–The beautiful Italian women on minis during summer, The delicious Italian Cuisine, The 2,000 years of History, The Roman Arts and Architecture, all very exciting adventures! When in Rome!
