Ah.. Amsterdam… so where do I begin???
Okay, Amsterdam is known for many many attractions, some can be flowering like their Tulips, some can be as breezy as the Dutch Windmills, some can be a Cruise on their beautiful Dutch Canals, and some may not be morally or legally accepted all over the world but in a country that is consider to be a 1st world country, you got to admit sometime even the wrong is right.
.
First things first: I Love Amsterdam! The City is just amazingly and uniquely beautiful, with its web of canals surrounding the city. Its low rise Dutch Classicism styled buildings that are aesthetically slanted. and yes of course, the beautiful dutch women in bicycles. just amazing
.
I have to admit I was shocked and was in disbelief coming to Amsterdam. I heard stories about how Sex and Drugs among other things were sold like candies in Holland… but seeing it was a different story… It was culture shocking! Let me talk about the Drugs first… Anyone can buy a marijuana grow-it-yourself kit (30-60 euros per pack), Magic Mushrooms, Chocolates spiked with weed, Lollipops made of poppy, any kind of drug actually… All you can find in their version of 7-elevens… You can also call someone to test the potency and purity of the drugs being sold to you… Isn’t that a full proof service? shocking really! Truly an Addict’s Paradise. Now the infamous Amsterdam Red Light District… When in Amsterdam, Visit Casa Rosso or one of the many many Sex Theaters sprawled along the Red Light district. Live Fucking, with Live couples for 2 euros. Actually you can choose your fantasy to watch. Also along that sinful avenue are the infamous Amsterdam Red-lit windows Brothels (Can you believe they will have a standard rates: Suck and Fuck for 50 Euros). I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and hearing, I can actually hear tourists bargaining for a threesome.–True Story!
.
But because I have friends who are the Nicest Nederlanders in all the World (Jurryt, Erwin, Maika, and Fleur–met them through my favorite Dutch: Tisha Monfort :D) I experienced a different kind of amsterdam–away from the Coffee Shops and Red Light district. They all took me out for Dinner and drinks in their favorite place and I absolutely enjoyed myself! I loved the Food and the Prosecco! I also met a couple of nice Dutch girls in a club who branded my candy colored Holga a “Pussy Magnet” hahaha!! Again, thanks guys! I can’t wait to go back!

Bicycles in Amsterdam (de fietsen van Amsterdam)…
I have never seen so much bikes in my entire life. For a small cIty there are just so many, probably outnumbered cars/vehicles 5:1. Boats/Sea vessels by 50:1 They even have a Huge Parking building just for Bicycles outside the Grand Central Station.–TRUE STORY. All kinds of Bikes, Some are pimped (with tassles, basket, flowers, ringers, Colorful Bikes), some are just regular bikes, but what I love the most about “de fietsen van Amsterdam” are the very friendly dutch who are riding them. ;)

KLM flies Manila to Amsterdam 4-5 times a week! What are you waiting for???
